Checked my 1991 750ss its front sprocket is 15 the rear is 37 its more relaxed at high speed , but still pulls as hard as the 2 monsters and is OK round town apart from its turning circle with clipons ,, so I reckon 39 will be a good compromise from 41 on the monsters
