If it helps I have a 1200R and have felt no need to have DWC, the bike doesn't try and flip unless you grab a real hand full in 1st I would imagine, in fact I rarely have a lift of the front wheel, its normally under heavy acceleration if I hit a bump and just a slight close of the right wrists sorts that out and it makes me feel alive
