Gazz l and Nash are right the early S is the one to go for if you want high spec, early carby S's had full floating brakes front and rear too. Unfortunately due to cost measures at the factory early 2000's spec went down and by the time of the 1000sie it was little more than a few cosmetic bits, cowl etc. But they are still good bikes and of course most bits from the earlier bikes will fit, if you can find them s/hand.
