Your right in your description Sit On. You are made to lean more over the front giving you more involvement in riding it. It was quite an experience for me going from a m900 to a s4 then riding the M1100s when they were introduced and I fell in love with it. Much tighter on the gonads but it keeps you alert rather than the earlier bike as you say sitting more comfy in it. I guess that's why so many fit clip on's and rear sets. I have to say though when I did restore my m900 with the ohlins rear shock it feels higher and more stable than stock and I liked that.
