I have used progressive springs in Cars and HDs and old Brit bikes and they work well for standard road use but when tuning bikes with very adjustable forks I find linear springs are best like in my S4 ,, it really did not like progressive springs made it dangerous ,

my 750ss has linear standard springs rated 9nm and no adjustable forks but handle superb ,,
The M750 is also fine ,,and i will not be modifying the forks at all ,, just a refresh and new oil ..
