got some nice goodies to swap over from the "spare" tank to the original now its nice and grey..
didnt notice at first - i was originally focused on the filler cap:
but then saw it had a nice ali sender nut too...

My favourite mistake:
the side vents were tatty as when i got them... so much so i wasnt sure whether i'd put them back on - there was even a small crack in one of them... but persevered and rubbed them down, and a few coats of clear lacquer and just saw how they would turn out - 2nd coat of lacquer, and I pick up the wrong spray can and start spraying them black... ooo i swore.... just as i was about to reach for the thinners, noticed it actually looked like quite a nice effect and meant i can hide the crack with filler!
Few small extra bits and bobs to sort out before shes completely finished, but can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel
couldnt help myself for a shot of the two italians too
(although the Guzzi looks a little less glamorous next to the Duc...)
