Yea, I'd be raging about that response, but it's his business and his loss of business at the end of the day. But his response is just as stupid, of course hand brakes don't need a return spring because it's bloody obvious if you have it pulled in your hand or not. It's not so obvious with a foot brake which you could drag on and burn out with your boot without knowing. i mean there not exactly renowned for their stopping power so you wouldn't feel it dragging anyway!

I will have to take a look a the Ducabike ones if they are like the DP ones because they do at least offer some adjust ability.
