This is exactly the sort of part that we should have a 3D model of in our library.
If anyone has or can lend an original for a week or so, I can get a 3D cad file produced and then pass it on to my nephew who is learning all about how to operate his brand new 3D printer, and he's a fast learner from what I've seen so far.

I'm sure there is a rubber like plastic that can be 3D printed?
