I had a 600SS belt snap horizontally across the belt, the piston wasn't as bad as that.
On the carbie and IE's I remember the double bearings were a pig to remove, the bigger single deep bearing was a doddle.
My S2Rs feel nice at the mo (changed the belts a few months ago) so I'm leaving well alone.
