I loved my old VFR750. in 1992 it took me and the (now) mrs to Italy and back. 130 on the autobhan with full luggage in supreme comfort, so much so that mrs would actually fall asleep whilst I was riding!!! Gear driven cams, hydraulic valves, super reliable, lacking in character if character means you like breaking down regularly......
VFR800fi is the one to have now, 2 grand on ebay, must not buy another bike............
