On this point I won a pair of Hyperpro springs on ebay last week, bargain.

I got in touch with them and they don't rate their springs other than to say.

"Our springs are suitable for persons between about 70 to 100kgs.
Since they are progressive, they offer more resistance the more they are compressed."

I suspect they will be nice for road use and will do so at some point.
