Some very erm...interesting... replies. The question arose as an American (admittedly on an American website) tried to correct me when I used the term bends for... well bends. He said they're corners and I don't agree. I'm going with this description - "A corner is the angle formed when two straight lines meet. A bend is an arc line, a fragment of a circle."
But I also go with this simple description - " A corner is found at a junction, a bend is a curve in a road".
