I went for the Woodcraft ones after looking at all the other options. I can't remember if they had 1.5 or 2.0 inch rise but they fit perfect under the top triple. They're expensive but worth the money. I paid around £130 iirc a few years ago. I sure wouldn't drop the forks and fit them on top for the reasons others have said.
