timing belts done
Ok so as I was bored and not sure if the belts have been done on my 2013 796 i thought I should do them.
Plenty of vids to watch and links on here.
Made my own pins out of some 8mm stainless bolts filed down the last 40mm to just under
6mm. the ones on the bike were so slack the horizontal belt was not touching the top pully.
As for tensioning what a faffffffff I down loaded the app recommended Carbon Drive. I just could not get the same number twice.
do you strum close to the crank or out toward the horizontal head?
So I had it at 98hz 6 times out of ten LOL . then turned in first gear with plugs out several times sloooooooowly.
Well all ok now started fine
so thats 14t front sprocket done
tyres done
oil change done
fork oil done
although my forks are due to go off for cartage kit.
