At the risk of being accused of sabotaging the rideouts I have just been on the Powys council website and they are gritting the higher areas tonight from 9pm. Bearing in mind that most of the area is 'high' this is probably most main roads around the Hotel. I know that this won't affect the hardy 'all-year-round' riders but for me, bikes & salty roads are mutually exclusive.

It's really disappointing that the weather is still so crap at this stage of the year.especially with the amount of work involved in organising it
