That's the reason why I decided not to let some parts included in the original RR kit ;-)

RR proived a Special Collection limited to 100 kits to the happy owners, in the late 90's. Owner had to purchase a brand new M900 + a RR Special Collection, including all the stuff. The Ducati shop (not called Ducati stores yet) had to build up the bike, then to deliver the lucky end user.
Regarding wheels, that's Akron rings and CNC hubs. All parts of the original Special Collection are "metal gun" anodized.
