I’d get radiator/oil cooler guards on the models you mention, Evotech make the best of these, as a stone in the radiator could cost you around a grand.
If you ride in traffic, especially with the brakes on a 1200, I’d get a race style brake lever guard
(got one of those somewhere too, will throw it in if someone takes the crash bungs)
