Did you pop the gudgeon pins and remove the pistons with the barrels, or after? Would it be easy enough to slip the barrels back over the rings if the pistons were left in tact? (I'm only removing the barrels/heads not splitting the crankcases) I don;t have a ring compressor thingy....
