Smashing ride there in the morning, meeting Dacs and my mates on Triumphs at Harleston.
We were going to ride down together, but unfortunately Martyn had filled his Triumph up with diesel and it wasn't running as it should! What kind of muppet does a thing like that?!
Dacs and I went on while the Triumph drained. It was a battle against the headwind with 60mph feeling much more like 90! But a lot of fun on the bendy B1119.
It was a a treat to see UncleDuke again at Thorpeness, on his splendid '72 TR6. I had one of those, superb bikes.
Dacs' lovely M1000Sie was outnumbered 3-1 by Triumphs with the other two arriving once correctly fuelled, DaveR helped the Ducati corner with his immaculate 750SS and I represented the 21st century.
A good turnout again at Thorpeness, well done all.
