I have now had 3 quotes for Breeze block garages with Rendering all over £15k+ and with Brick £20k+so not going down that route.
Everyone of my mates with Timber garages/ workshops , have never been asked by insurers ???and some of them have £100k worth of bikes and tools in ????
Steel builldings is secure but the insulating is not easy by all accounts spoken with some locals.
about it , most of the newer garages around here are pre,fab sectional , rendered concrete and all seem dry and well built .....No one round here is keen on wood except for garden sheds all the wooden ones have been replaced with modern concrete ones
