I quite like the original rubber cable wraps, way better than plastic cable ties which really are horrid.
RGM have had a variety of original John Bull design rubber cable wraps made and they are rather good actually. Great for much older bikes but okay on a Ducati too.

Well they've been like that since the get go in '93 until '07 when the revised wiring loom got rid of them. They do look more obvious on a light coloured frame though but no so bad I guess. I got used to them over the years, they're kinda Ducati trademark. Those red mirrors are far more offensive to me!
