Thanks for the info chaps. the pic the Spuggy gave the link to is the correct one. Perhaps I will take mine apart first to see what's inside - but I guess its non repairable.

Yes Nickj - the bike handles very nicely. I am used to vibrations from my old BSA but I have been a little surprised with how this bike runs - but I am warming to her with more miles.
