I have one but the one I bought is all black inside and has a plain cover. I decided I wanted to change the look of the headlight and give the bike a more modern look. Light output and spread is much much better than the stock unit, even though it had better bulbs installed.
It is plug and play, no horrible surprises.
I've found one flaw in the black paint inside the headlight under the high beam lense has bubbled under strong sunlight, magnified by the lense above. A strip and repaint in the winter will fix that.
Longevity? Its manufactured in China, some stuff is good, some not. I only hope if it does give out it's not when I'm riding home in the dark.
