Cheers for all the advice, Sunday was a washout here but today gave it another 80 mile run to Largs, no starting problems or fast idle problems this time, still a bit "snatchy" in 30 mph limits, but it's liveable with.
It seems to return to idle in two stages....pull up at a junction from a faster speed and it initially drops to around 1600 rpm, then after 2 - 3 seconds it drops to normal 1100/1200 rpm.....are these things "fly by wire" ?It's strange....like an old Monobloc with a sticky slide.....for those over 60!
