For me the feel and sound of a petrol engine is a big part of bikes. I've only got old bikes at the moment, don't know if I'll get anything newer but if I do it'll have a petrol engine.
But I reckon I can keep my current bikes running long enough for me and I'll likely have given up riding by the time choice is finally removed from us.
So I'll not be getting an electric bike - unless it's a mobility scooter...
