Not the best photo but the only one to hand- my '97 (albeit with Marzocchi forks) bike has them pulled through the yokes.
Plus the rear is raised up on the hoop- I like it a little lively
As for the German bike, pretty sure it was on eBay last year for £15,000.
Never worth that money unless someone wanted it for a collection- it would cost a fortune to re-commission to get it on the road again.
