That's proved to me that the rings will look better in Black with LED units.
Although I have a colour match for the centre console of the dash, which might be quite good?
Nights are drawing in so You'll soon get a chance to try it.
I gave mine a good test last Sunday coming home from Jeff's. 117 miles all in the dark.
I followed Jeff (with same lamp set up) across the city for a few miles, then about 10 miles of lanes. The rest was A road with sections of dual carriageway, ending with about 5 miles of lanes again.
I can confirm that this lamp (Autopal crystal with Nightbreaker bulb) is much, much safer than the original Bosch lamp... No anxious moments whatsoever. I still wouldn't mind a bit more reach on the main beam though.
Anyone trying out any different lamps?
I have another sheet of Tricoya and production is likely to commence in September.
