If you are thinking of buying it, then the mods that are not to everyone's taste could be a good way to get the price down. In that respect it would be a nice project as somebody will buy what you don't like on Ebay.

But beware.
Some bikes with a lot of bolt on type mods are owned by people who don't do the more mechanical maintenance requirements, either because they don't have the skills, or they have their priorities wrong.
With a low mileage Jap 4, that the owner might be more used to, it's easier to get away with than a Ducati.
