I guess you need a bit of extra oomph to carry all the plumbing though.
Its the same old story really ....high bhp figures sells bikes.
Light weight is more valuable in my book, but that doesn't attract the punters so well.
I can still remember how awesome the evo-engined, NCR one-shot felt, with its std (aircooled) motor and 140kg weight .....and that was just stationary, in the carpark !!
That said, I'm not complaining.
I'm glad that bike designers continue to build ever more extreme bikes.
But they're not for me.
