http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALUMINIUM-...item5af73732dd cut a 20/30mm length, drill a 6mm hole in one end, take a slice out of the other thin enough to bend but be strong enough, drill tap, bolt, glue whatever. Brackets are easy, even I can do them with my limited kitchen draw tool kit and hammers
File and polish if required or leave rough and 'to be finished one day' if you are like me
