I would say that you're probably ok to use that oil.
The JASO MA2 spec (which it has) is the important criteria for a wet clutch bike.
But having said that, I stick to the recommended shell advance ultra 4t myself, just to be on the safe side.
It can be had for about £28 for 4 litres delivered, off the internet.

The K&N oil filter is probably good, not only for the handy nut on the casing but also......
I saw a report some time ago where someone had cut one open and analysed it compared to a Ducati filter.
The K&N had a finer grade of filtration medium and a significantly larger area of it too, which (you would imagine) should give better performance.
.....though assumptions are always dangerous.
.....and oem filter spec may have changed since then.

I add one (or preferably three) of those high powered magnets to the filter casing, to suck out even more of the finer ferrous sludge.
