Funny thing is, he will turn a blind eye to open cans (so long as you're not being an absolute berk) and Black visors (daytime only obviously), but will not tolerate small plates.
I need a clean license for my job, so it's a bit of a sticky wicket for me really.

If you can live with it keep it. TBH the tail chops no good in the wet anyhow. My lettering is just 1mm smaller on the plate and that's what is so un-noticeable. Looks ok anyhow.
