Plastic tanks are thicker & hold less fuel than steel ones, that's why later monsters have less range. Reserve is around 3/4 gallon but fuel light won't always trigger at correct time. I usually wont go more than 20 miles after reserve shows on trike, and that usually comes on between 125-130 miles.
