My dealer has just rung to say that the Monster 696 launch weekend is probably going to be the 1st weekend in May.

All those who have ordered the plus version of the 696 should be getting their new bike on this weekend.

Apparently, all those who have ordered the base model, will have to wait till September!!!

I thought that was strange, I would have thought it would have made more sense for Ducati to have imported the base model only & the dealer could have added the screen & cowl from their parts stock if the customer wanted the plus model.
