New bike for a newbie...
Hi Y'all. im new here and look fwd to hanging about.
Id like to try and get your professional opinions on a couple of bikes im looking at getting as a first ride. im pretty limited to just London and surrounding area so anyone got anything good going Im not able to travel that far away.
the first is a late 2001 (apparantly 02 spec) monster 600
16000 miles
10 months tax, Mot April 07
datatool security alarm
Front and back tyres were replaced 3k miles ago
Chains and sprockets have yet to be replaced, but belts were replaced last service
Next service in 2k miles
Never ridden on a track
£1750
the other is
2001 Monster 600
datatool immobiliser
MOT Expiration Date: May 2007
Road Tax: 5 Months
6000 miles
tyres and chain are all ok but not new
standard amount of road crud corosion around the engine case
£2000 serviced to include oil/filter and cam belts
£1800 take it without a service
are these good prices? Should they be cheaper. Obviously theres a difference of 10k miles between the 2...but I am on a budget also.
