is it possible to bump start a bike with a slipper clutch ?
i keep trying to work it out in my head but my brain keeps melting.
and if your realy good could you explain why

I would guess it would react to the torque of the bike at the back wheel, like a car you should bump start a bike in 2nd or 3rd gear, this might allow it to spin the engine without applying enough force to activate the slipper mechanism.
Don't see why not.
Although I guess it'd depend on how the clutch is set up.... they slip at different pressures depending on the plate pack thickness.
But it's all just a theory for me - have YOU ever tried bump starting a 996?!!
