Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice here. I've just bought a 1997 M750 and i've checked the valve clearances, and would like to know if i have to make any adjustments here,

Vertical cylinder
Inlet valve
Opening clearance 0.11mm
Closing clearance 0.04mm
Exhaust valve
Opening clearance 0.17mm
Closing clearance 0.02mm

Horizontal cylinder
Inlet valve
Opening clearance 0.10mm
Closing clearance 0.03mm
Exhaust valve
Opening clearance 0.12mm
Closing clearance 0.03mm

According to the Haynes manual, the vertical cylinder exhaust valve opener is to loose at 0.17mm and the closer to tight at 0.02mm, but that manual only covers from 91 to 96 models. I've cheacked out some different websites where they suggest different figures, any advice would be much appreciated,

Cheers
Rich
