Try braking really hard on the rear brake! It may have a sheen. Or try copperslip on the rear (NOT the face) of the pads.

Yerby has nicked my avatar and added a helmet, I am morpified!

I am sure I was first, tell you what, you can be chaz or the tin foil tutu girl? My morph is carrying more body mass and has protective gear thus I am the alpha morph.

Copperslip is high temperature grease that is copper in colour. Available from most motor factors. It keeps working under extreme temps like on brake systems. Do not get it on the discs

I have "been" morph since joining all those years ago, but Hey who cares, I am glad to have started a trend. Even if there are only two of us... :burnout:

I remain your slim and naked friend.

They all do it - hard use of the back brake seems to temporarily fix it - but don't lock up your rear wheel!!!

Someone fitted new rear pads for me and they squealed almost all the time. I took them out and found they had a direction arrow on them, never seen this before, anyway the pads appeared to be in the wrong way round, so I switched them round and behold... quiet rear brakes.

Mine has always done it especially when the pads warm up, even with copperslip on the back of the pads, nothing to worry about, just the noise is annoying.

mine make no noise at all, its just useless so I use the engine and the front.

The squeal is air being heated up and compressed between pad and dics when you brake.
Different friction material(make of pads) can make a difference.
Removing pads and cleaning friction material side with some emery paper somtimes works.
As mentioned above copper grease or any high temperature grease will help in allowing the pad to move away in the caliper from the disc when brakes are released.
After that if it still make a noise live with it...at least it gets you noticed and so are more visible
