Hello everyone,
Please can you help.
My speedometer cable has snapped. (about two inches fron the bottom  no smutty comments please)
Is this part available in all motorspares shops (Halfords) or do I need to get it from a Ducati Dealer.
My bike is a '97 M600 if this makes any difference.
any idea of cost also??
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers

I imagine you will have to go to the dealers for this.
No idea of cost.
Cant see it being more than about £20.

Ducati dealer.
I bought one for my 900ss a few months ago. Cost was all of £2.42. I was quite pleasantly shocked!!!

Mine broke on Saturday. For mail order I use Woods but was told that they had none is stock and were hard to get. Luckily Shirlaws had one in so I have ordered that as well. I did go through a spate of breaking them but this one has lasted over 20 thousand.

I phoned a couple of dealers that are reasonably close to me.
both quoted exactly the same price. £10.71 +VAT
neither dealer had one in stock ( )
I've ordered one from Pegasus (Reading)
On yer bike will post them out, but they use a parcel company and the cost was a tenner for P+P.
