Does anybody out there know if and where I can get a workshop manual for an S4?

I dont think you can even get one for a late 900ie. I use the earlier manual that haynes do, backed up with some updated torque settings from the Ducati site + detail from sites like this. The Monster isn't a comlicated piece of machinery (despite some of what you hear) so this is usually enough for most common things.

The Haynes manual that covers Monsters only deals with non-injected air-cooled models prior to 1996 and costs £20. Apparently you can get a genuine Ducati workshop manual for the S4 through Ducati dealers for not much more.

You can get a genuine Ducati factory manual for your S4, from your local Ducati dealer for around £25.00 and I believe that goes for all other models also. Only a few quid more than a Haynes and much better.

Think I'll be buying one of those this weekend then. I'm glad someone put me right. :D

You'll probably have to order it, as they don't normally have them in stock.

I got one for my 620 from DLS, took under a week to arrive. It came without a binder so you'll need to find a folder jobbie with four clips on the spine.
(they obviously 'frown upon' owners having their own workshop manuals from the looks I got while ordering)

Oh yes Rob I forgot to say that they don't come in a folder :o , but they are definately worth the extra few quid. :D :D :D
