Chaps - have attached new fuel hose, but having a lot of trouble getting it to go on far enough to the tank end.

Haven't used any tools and actually thought that it would be fine, but the clamp seems to be loosening a little and petrol leaks (sometimes sprays!!) from the poor connection. Think basically the hose needs to go on further - do I just need some bent nose pliers or something. Are there any good tricks to get it to slide on better??

Best, Taman

The fuel hose needs to be pushed far enough past the flared nipple that the fuel clip can fit on. Are you using proper fuel clips? Standard jubilee clips distort the pipe so can leak.

yes, couldn't get it far enough past the nipple to attach clip properly, but they are standard bits from Ducati store. Will try some vaseline!!
