Where is the meet point in Basingstoke ? - all being well I'm hoping to come along Monday and Basingstoke would make the most sense for me... Any Berks/Oxon folks out there going down ???

Basigstoke meet point:

"If my memory serves me well there is a car showroom place on the left as you go into Aldermarston Rd South which is on the South side of the roundabout - its a little dual carriage way and on the opposite side is a Shell garage . Plenty of room for meeting up - although last year cos of the bikes we did take the lime light from the Car Showrooms who asked us to politly move on. 4D"

Hope you can make it Pete - I'll try & add a streetmap link later.

I've never been to Stadhampton, but it looks like the best place for us to meet up with folk. Is the BP station there easy to find? Fingers crossed that there will be lots of friendly monsters for us to ride on with.

Albie - nutter! - you better sort Kent meet point out, as Tom seems to be AWOL at the moment.

Egham, Sunningdale, Chobham, Woking, (6 cross roads) through Maybury, Old Woking, Send, Clandon, Newlands.
Try AA route Planner - might help for you too Richard.

I'm wondering if they mean the BP garage/services on the A4074 just North of Benson. This is not far from the R/B where this road joins the A329. If it is that one (guess we should try and get some clarification) then coming from Oxford on the A4074 you can't really miss it (left hand side) off of a roundabout.

If the weather is OK and I manage to kick myself out of bed early enough I'll probably try and meet up there rather than in Basingstoke. If it isn't the right garage then I guess I'll have a lonely ride on my own :(

Cheers,

Pete
