I just had a look at the Ace website and there's no mention of 'Italian night', I picked it up from a thread between Chris and Madhatter. Still, if enough of us show up it'll be Italian night anyhow.

People usually start turning up from about 8pm onwards, and stay for a couple of hours. Italian bikes get marshalled to the front of the cafe, where as jap stuff etc.. get sent to the sin bin at the end of the car park. Italian night also coincides with the London NABD meet which I've missed for a couple of months, so I'll try and be there for both again this time.

I aim to get there about 8.30 - Hope the weather holds until Thursday :D

By day he is Grant Mitchell in a Pug 306 GTi6 and by night he turns into a Power Ranger on a Monster with super powers - he's sooo my hero

Fingers crossed, if I manage to get my arse out of work on time I'll be tagging along with Pete, if not Pete and his mate will be there for defo.

Aha - I remember those power ranger types - very dubious... could be that by the end of the week with all this rain we will all be like mutant ninja turtles - I can feel the flippers starting to sprout! I think a ski attachment will be my next mod.... As for Thursday night- will be watching out for that Runningman character and the sewwt trolley - I'll have my emergency mars bar so don't worry if it never comes around...
PS whee is Flitwick? SOunds good wherever it is!!! :)

Flitwick (pronounced Flitick) as my new Beds & Bucks mates know, is just off junction 12 of the M1 and very nice it is too.

Not as nice as High Beech though.

I went to Milton Keyunes on Saturday, came back cross country(mainly A507 I think... via Bedford, Sandy and Stanstead) which was much better than NCR and M1.

Nice to see so many at the Ace last night. Think there was about 40 italian bikes & a dozen monsters, most of which were club members and we carded a few that were not.

Can't remember all those that turned up, but saw Rachael Benson, Mr & Mrs Running man, Storming Norman, Slob etc...

Guess other like Pete s4 & Chappers got put off by the weather - Norman got soaked on the way in from Milton Keynes, but it held off for the rest of us.

Stuart's (spareshack) S4 is in a photo shoot by Street Biker magazine
I'm told this will involve the use of a young lady with little or no clothes on.
If you what to see this shamefull naked flesh draped all over a Ducati
join me at the Ace Cafe at about 11AM (probably at the street fighter stand
in the car park)

A good morning/afternoon at the Ace all things considered and a rather pleased looking Stuart with that rather scantily clad model draped all over his machine (so to speak matron :p ) - now we all know what to do with those left over fishnets - make em into gloves!!!!! Hurrah - no comment....

ANYWAY - nice to see so many folks over there... Hopefully next Saturday will be just as good at Bristol and then on Sunday it's ladies day at the Ace...Heck - the summer of fun continues :D

Ride safe and happily.
