just how bad is it for the bike to be 1000 miles over the servicing limits?

Im stuck between getting it done now or getting it done properly. I cant get her booked in where I want it done until 27th by which time I'll be close to 7k.

I use her daily for commuting and as my only form of transport I will need to do 700 miles before I even do any social stuff.

wait and be happy that she will be looked after or get her done now? advice please!!!

It,s usual to accept a 10-15% over mileage limit

If the place you want, will do a better job, give them a ring just to check

If it's any consolation, technically the service is due at 10000Km - which is 6214 miles, so you've got a bit more leeway.
