It seems to vary between insurance companies. For example Norwich Union say my 620ie is Group 10, Bennets say that it is Group 12. So I'm not sure that there is a universal grouping.

Sami - this is the general listing for all the bikes:

M620 - group 10
M800 - group 13
S4 - group 14
M1000 & S4R - group 15

Hope this is of help,

a quick question on insurance....they always ask "do you use your bike to comute?"....does a daily ride of 5 miles to work count as a comute, and does anyone know if this affects your premiums?

Riding to work does count as commuting mate.
However, with a few companies it may not affect premiumm, if your overall mileage is low anyway.
The difference in mine was only £21 - so I added the commuting anyway - tho I rarely take the bike to work (2 & a half miles, and as I work in suit - its a bit of a bother getting changed etc - and actually takes longer on the bike!) Its just nice to have that facility tho.
