I think me clutch is beginning to slip on my 750! It's done just over 11,000 miles, is that average or am I just a heavy handed git? I wanna replace it meself - anyone out there done this? Is it easy or should I let the pros' do it? Any tips/helpful ideas would be appreciated - Garry.

It's a piece of **** on the 900, but it has a dry clutch. I'm thinking that once you drain the oil and get the cover off it wil be just as simple. Would need a new gasket though.

My 750 is coming up to 13,500 miles and I'm sure that mine has begun to slip a bit when "gunning for it"....not too bad yet so I'll leave it a bit longer. Be good if you could post back when you've done it and let me know what you did and how you got on.

Depends on the age of your 750 because some of the earlier ones had dry clutches I think.

When would the clutch need doing ? Mine had done 18k and the clutch gives me a bit of stick, but because this is my first bike I am unsure if this is me being cack handed or Monica!!!!

Suggestions/cheep clutches?!!!

Yawlright Garry,

Yep, I'd be more inclined to go with Space. (ooooooerrr missus).

If it involves an indepth strip down of the clutch assembly watch out for them there springs...................... ;) (that last 'Smilie' is not a wink but the aftermath of a spring in yer EYE)
