bad design....

so the starter motor lead runs down the right, looks shabby and not only ruins the line of the cam cover but makes slipping them on a bit of a fiddle, water then runs down into the "protective boot" which only serves to store water..hmm terminal is now rusted into one lump and to get the starter motor cover off you have to remove the left engine case as the left bolt is inacessible due to the position of the carb oil warmer hoses.........wd4o, not the smell of victory......... :mad:

Don't start me about bad design mate - I've only done simple things to my monnie like altering the gear selector and for reasons best known to Ducati they have the allen screw in the wrong way so what should be a very simple job is a hassle.
