Hi
Am on the lookout for some smaller indicators than stock...the ones ive seen have a narrow stem..so can anyone tell me how they fit to the tail unit where the bigger indicators are ...and look neat? or do i fix them elsewhere?

I don't want to cause a fight, but I haven't seen a set of them yet fitted to a monster that's not had the choperation. They are usually fitted onto a home made bracket near the light, poking out from under the seat as they help the minimal look. I'd imagine they'd look a bit odd on a tail with the tray.

I think your right PD. They need to be tucked away and the tea tray has moulded out mountings. ;)

yeah i see what u mean....altho im sure in the DP catalogue (front fold over bit) that monster has them. Another alternative might be to get clear lenses with an orange bulb? anyone know anybody who sells them that fit the stock indicators? pleaseeeeeeeee

There must be some out there somewhere in the spares world some clear lenses. I will try to search and let the world know. I will leave no stone unturned or any river uncrossed in the search for clear lense.

Oh and orange bulbs . :p :p :p

Stuart @ spareshack sells a clear rear light and LED thingymajig which has the indicators built into it - well orange LED's at each side.
That way if you chop the tail, you don't need any sticky-out bits at all.

I think they are like the car side repeater lamps and prob too small. :(

Got one of those on my S4, bought from Stuart (Spareshack) at the track day. Don't know about the legality, ie, width apart, but they're more than big enough & bright enough.

if your a brave bunny, cut the arse off........... you can then fit an led rear light and a set of tinycators............... which looks the nuts......... but that said, i'm looking at another change........... going for a 916 seat unit with hidden led strip lights set inside the plastic showing through a line of small holes............. but dont mention tail chop to ruth and julie.............. for some reason they get a real hard on (pardon me !!!!) for a monsters tail !!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i say chop................. does my bum look big on this :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

Go for it. Individulism is what its all about. The monster is so customisable. We are all different. I dont know if i want to hack my bike as im not sure if im happy with it. Im thinking S4 then really play. We know they work by AK's bike :D :D :D :D

i'm not a fan of the s4r,......... i REALLY dont like the way the standard cans sit........... the only s4r i've seen that looked any good is jasons a hes moved his cans into a 916 style.......... i just dont like the shotgun style all on 1 side.......... makes the other side look very bear and empty.......... not nice.......... and as much as i love the swinger on the 748/916......... i dont on a monnie.......... would rather have a deep braced jmc on an s4............ and the 996 engine doesnt make much more power over a 916.............. and as i have the termig race cans, race chip and open filter................. i'll take a standard s4r............... dont get me wrong, its a nice bike................. but in my eyes........... its just not ....................... right !!!!!!

good man........................ now if only duke put a 6 inch wheel on the back so we could run 190/200 tyres............... 180 is ok but in streetfighter world.............. its as bad as a porn star with a 4 inch cock
