Should I? Shouldn't I?
Whats the best kit to get? Pros and cons? Cost?
Will it drastically affect my wheelies away from lights in a mature and responsible way?

It's all a matter of personal choice and I could be starting a tidal wave of responses here, but....my 750 had cip ons fitted when I bought it with the standard bars and other bits and pieces.

I found that at silly speeds on the straight, particularly dual carrageway or motorway, I had trouble keeping the bike stable and you could feel it trying to weave. I put the standard bars back on, which are of course higher and wider and this cured the problem, wider bars giving me more leverage. :burnout:

I can not comment on how much improved the control over wheelies was with the higher bars, as of course this practice is completely ilegal and irresponsible..........as is riding at silly speeds..........and having loud pipes........and small number plates.

I've just sold my 750 which had the Rizoma (http://www.rizoma.com/pa202d.html) top clamp and clip ons fitted. It only dropped the bars about 1 inch and they were about same length. control was as good as high bars but it was easier to get body weight over front wheel. They looked really neat when i had fairing off.

As the bike was p/exed I stripped all the nice tasty bits off it, bars/clamp will be for sale soon.

You can find pics here (http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/DUCATI/bars1.jpg) and here (http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/DUCATI/bars2.jpg) . I'll post them properly in "for sale" once I sort out all the other stuff, pics etc.
