Wot's your monster? I bought some DHM but had to take them back because the bolt is the wrong size for 2002 onward monsters. They haven't made any for new monsters yet! Mine's a 620sie 02. :(

R and G fit all Monsters 02 on I think, neat and well worth it.

They're the same ones that I've got, sorry to hear of your off, but it's good to see they worked and saved yer monny from a lot more damage, some people took the p#ss when I put mine on and said they looked like somewhere to put your feet on long journies, but, as can be seen by what was saved on yer bike, they work, so who gives a sh#t what they look like.
:p :p :p
By your lack of comment on your condition, I take it you were not too badly damaged ???

All the best

Glad it saved the bike from more broken carbon than you can shake a carbon stick at.

What sort of speed were you doing, was it a low side type drop and what damage elsewhere, I can see the bar end and Can got a battering.

So you're walking around like John Wayne without his horse, at the moment
:D :D :D
What happened Berto, diesel, myopic car driver or too much right hand  .
As long as you're not too banged up and on the mend.
Is it going to cost a lot to put yer monny back to full health ???

If you have good household insurance, inc. personal posessions you may be able to claim for the riding kit.

Berto consider it instant wearing in for the jacket :o , bloody nice Aria that though - if it's their fault shouldn't they be paying - or are they not liable because you didn't hit em

Here ya go Nat,
Got mine last year at the NEC, on the R & G stand, they cost £75.00, I don't think they will have gone up much if any since then.
You can get the from their website (sorry dont have the address)

Can someone explain why these things are so expensive (£75 a pair). They appear to be a basic threaded shoulder bolt with a plastic roller that is allowed to spin on the shoulder. Is it a special type of plastic or something???

berto
16-08-2004, 08:29 PM
 They cant be that simple as when I threw it doon the road the bolt didnt even bend....Th cheap ones dont work simple as that...

:They cant be that simple as when I threw it doon the road the bolt didnt even bend....The cheap ones dont work simple as that...

Ok.....so we can assume that the bolt is of a hardened grade steel, whilst not making it brittle, but I'm only guessing that the bung itself is a normal "Nylon type" material for machining......did yours scratch or wear down where they hit the ground or does the fact that they turn on the shoulder bolt also prevent serious damage to the bungs?????

:( They just wore down so a replacement was put on job done
